August Burns Red - (Set time: 10:15 PM)
August Burns Red
August Burns Red are a metalcore band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania (USA). The band formed in March of 2003 and quickly started playing shows around Lancaster. For many years, they were signed to Solid State but as of 2014 are now signed to Fearless Records.
Miss May I - (Set time: 9:15 PM)
Miss May I
Hailing from Dayton, Ohio, Miss May I claims a sound that is mature far beyond their years. With no members over the age of 19, they have been breaking out of the Dayton music scene with a sound that is unbelievably fast paced, heavy, and crushing, yet tastefully melodic and catchy. Currently writing for a full length debut with Rise Records, the band is gearing up for a 2009 release thats looking to propel them to the forefront of their genre.
Northlane - (Set time: 8:30 PM)
On the eve of the Soundwave festival performances, UNFD are proud to announce the release of Northlane's highly anticipated second album, "Singularity". To celebrate the announcement Northlane have released a new music video for the track, "Quantum Flux" unveiled today via the viral site singularity2013.com.
Singularity will be released on Friday 22 March via UNFD.

"Quantum Flux," the first official track from "Singularity" will undoubtedly surprise fans. The new single gives incredible insight into the diversity and musical talent of the band, it is a testament to their ability to push boundaries wherever they can. "Quantum Flux" is a ballsy move, especially as a lead single, but will surely impress each fan and further build upon their already sizable audience.

There was a lot of speculation about what SINGULARITY actually was after UNFD launched singularity2013.com in late January. The site hosted a countdown and a series of information leaks, that captured the attention of fans and media alike around the world, with more than 300,000 hits on the website in a month. After many rumours and guesswork, some fans correctly assumed that it was a Northlane related project after the recent trailer was launched and hidden leaks on the site started to appear. One avid fan even managed to crack the binary code used on the website to workout all the details of the forthcoming LP.

Releasing an album only four weeks after it is announced will still come as a pleasant surprise to fans, who have witnessed the Sydney five piece explode since the release of their debut album Discoveries on November 11, 2011 [11/11/11]. Relatively unknown at the time of the release, Northlane have gone on to become one of the biggest metal / hardcore bands in the country.

Produced by Will Putney of Machine Shop [New Jersey] in between a Canadian tour and their support of Parkway Drive late last year, the Northlane and UNFD camps have managed to keep the recording top secret. The band caught everyone off guard when they released "Worldeater" last December, leading fans to believe that it was a stand-alone singe, even though it was always intended for Singularity. Considering their incredibly busy touring schedule in 2012, no one expected an album to be released, let alone recorded, between the 200-odd shows that Northlane played or had scheduled since the release of Discoveries.

Fans can now go to singularity2013.com and watch a short documentary on the theory and development of Singularity, as well as the "Quantum Flux" music video. World wide pre-order links for the album can also be found on the site. Stay tuned to singularity2013.com for more developments on the "Singularity" project.
Fit For A King - (Set time: 7:45 PM)
Fit For A King
There is a common phrase amongst sportscasters that certain athletes "play the game the right way" – their fundamentals are so sound, their skill set so honed that they could be considered a case study in the most proper way to approach the sport they represent.

Tyler, Texas based newcomers FIT FOR A KING just might represent how that metaphor applies to a band. By forging ahead on their own path, making music well beyond their years, making it from the heart, and laying waste to their peers in the process, FIT FOR A KING have created a thing to marvel at - an impressive independent campaign that exemplifies the way "the game" should be played by an upstart band.

The hotly tipped metalcore band has been elbowing its way onto the national scene as a full-time touring outfit, cultivating fans at an alarming clip with a crushingly heavy, artful take on the genre that gives subtle tips of the hat to bands as diverse as THE ACACIA STRAIN, CIRCA SURVIVE and LINKIN PARK. The band's passionate music, coupled with an explosive live show, has made FIT FOR A KING a sensation in the independent music scene.

Following several years of relentless DIY touring and a well-received, independently released album (2011's Descendents), FIT FOR A KING are reaping the benefits of their hard work. Last July the industrious group was signed by Solid State Records, who quickly ushered the band into the studio to record their label debut Creation/Destruction, and take their already surging career to new heights.

Recorded with esteemed producer Andreas Magnusson (OH, SLEEPER, HASTE THE DAY, BLACK DAHLIA MURDER), Creation/Destruction is at once the fulfillment of a longtime dream for FIT FOR A KING, and just the first step in what is sure to sure to be an incredible journey for a band with massive potential.

"Words cannot even express how excited we are to join the Solid State family," vocalist Ryan Kirby says. "We grew up listening to Solid State bands and for us to actually be on this label is the best feeling we've had as a band. We'd been waiting and holding off on labels for so long until we felt we had the right one, and we absolutely do."

"We can definitely feel the momentum starting to build. Our fans were super excited for us and we have seen a big increase in the growth of our fan base in the past six months," Kirby continues. "Longtime fans can expect a more energetic, hard hitting album with the same passionate lyrics that we like to bring to the table. And what some fans may not expect is just how heavy and dark this album gets lyrically and musically."

Like a future-star athlete ready to prove his worth after a high draft position, FIT FOR A KING are ready to deliver with the release of Creation/Destruction. Sports metaphors notwithstanding - this is a band that knows how to play the game the right way and one that will be converting fans nightly.

Erra - (Set time: 7:00 PM)
Erra
ERRA is a progressive Metalcore band from Birmingham, Alabama. Since their formation in 2009, they have self-released 2 EPs, titled ERRA and Andromeda. They went on to sign with Tragic Hero Records and release their debut album Impulse in 2011. Their second album, Augment, which was released 2 years later, reached number 1 on the ARIA heatseekers chart. It was the album that started to see them gain a lot more traction, and consequently was the only other record to be released under the label. After becoming more successful with Augment, ERRA signed with Sumerian Records and released their 3rd EP titled Moments of Clarity. This EP is the first release to not feature unclean vocalist and co-founding member, Garrison Lee. Shortly before the EP was released, ERRA recruited a replacement vocalist, Ian Eubanks to perform on the record and subsequently become the new frontman. After the release of Moments of Clarity - as early as December 2014, guitarist Jesse Cash began working on the next record, their vocalist also started to write lyrics for the album. In August 2015, Ian Eubanks decided to step down as unclean vocalist, stating that he struggled to perform his vocal parts during touring, and that he was no longer able to scream correctly. Consequently, ERRA once again was on the search for another unclean vocalist. The new vocalist JT Cavey (ex Texas in July) was announced through the release of the lead single Luminesce for their upcoming record Drift. The record was released in April 2016, and is the latest release for the band.
